Basal Cell Carcinoma
Did you know there are at least 8 types of basal cell carcinoma and they are not all treated the same way? Once you’ve had a basal cell carcinoma, you are at risk for getting additional ones but there are options for prevention.
Squamous Cell Carcinoma
There are several kinds of squamous cell carcinoma which result different treatment options. Once again, there are options for prevention of additional squamous cell carcinomas.
While this is the most deadly form of skin cancer, the majority of patients will be cured when treatment is performed early in the course of the tumor growth. Prevention is the best treatment and there are strategies to help prevent recurrences.
